GradSWE stands for the graduate student committee of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) UCLA section.

GradSWE advocates for women graduate engineers and provides resources, tools, and opportunities for professional development and networking.

Our Mission

UCLA GradSWE’s mission is to support, inspire, and empower the current and future female engineering community to excel in all endeavors. 

UCLA GradSWE will accomplish this by:     

  • Fostering a welcoming and inclusive community through education, advocacy, and respect for all individuals.         
  • Providing professional and personal development through workshops and networking.
  • Encouraging members to become role models for future generations through leadership and mentorship opportunities. 
  • Serving as a resource for information pertaining to women engineers through events, social media, and online distributions.
